a retreat from an often stressful life as well as all the best that nature and a down-to-earth and honest cultural environment
have to offer.
Why not purchase your own affordable Italian retreat made even more affordable by the much lower property
tax rates recently passed by the Italian government (for more info about this, click the link above).
Get away from it
all and enjoy the friendly, helpful, down to earth people of the Molise-Abruzzo region!
Cozy Sant'Angelo del Pesco has essentials
including pharmacy, shops, bar, bakery and doctor as well as very friendly and accommodating residents. The surrounding area
offers many hidden treasures including agri-tourism, artisan shops, restaurants, cafès and numerous weekly and even daily
open air markets throughout the region.
There is a "superstrada" or expressway with an entrance and exit located just 2-3 minutes away, in the valley, just below
the town. Also, daily bus service to Rome, Pescara, Naples and shopping as well as other areas is available daily in the town
square.
By car, Pescara airport is less than an hour away and both Rome Ciampino and Da Vinci international airports are
about 2 hours away. If you find very affordable airfare flying into London or Frankfurt for example, all three airports mentioned
above can be reached by flying the discount airlines (Ryanair, Easy Jet, etc.) from many European cities. For instance, fly
very cheaply and direct from London Stanstead to Pescara or Ciampino airports. Another important point to keep in mind
is that direct flights from JFK to Pescara were begun on May 8, 2008! (Click the link above to visit http://www.eurofly.com).
